The Shadow
It hides from light
Stealing those who are lost
How would I know this you ask?
I know because it has consumed me
I reach for light, but never can find it

Now I'm drowning drowning drowning
Then falling when I wish to fly
I'm loosing sight of my dreams
When did this happen?

Just make it stop
This is a curse
Nothing can cure it but love
Too bad no one will give me what I need
I suffer and try to stop the pain
I truly an a fool to think I can be healed
I am forever ill at heart
