i have a pup young so small and full of life
laying there with him next to be resting i look into his eyes
as he looks at me and wonder what he is thinking
laying there next to me
i watch him yawn and with one of his cute little sighs
while i slowly and gently stroke him as
he closes his cute little eyes
to watch him sleeping i cuddle him close
fast asleep i rub his sweet little nose
i feel his heart beating away
from this day on i shall treasure this day
